How does neurotherapy and medications work?

 In

Neurotherapy trains the brain to function at its optimal level without introducing anything that is unnatural into the body/brain. Healthy neurotransmitters may increase naturally, representing more efficient brain functioning. Neurotherapy is effective, noninvasive, and safe but it can cause temporary side effects such as feeling “wired” or “tired”. These side effects usually last for only a few minutes to a few hours post session and can be decreased by hydration and good nutrition. Once Neurotherapy sessions are completed, no further sessions are typically necessary. Neurofeedback is an evidence-based, medication free procedure in which our clients learn to retrain the mechanisms of their brain, reducing symptoms rather than masking the behavior.
